Experience
I’m a Master of Public Health candidate with hands-on experience in public health research, program evaluation, and community outreach. I’ve supported a range of projects—from evaluating childhood nutrition disparities in the SPAN study to coordinating continuing education and outreach efforts at the Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health. My background includes roles in teaching, health communications, and research assistance, where I’ve developed strong skills in data collection, STATA analysis, and stakeholder collaboration. I’m passionate about advancing health equity and applying evidence-based solutions to real-world challenges.
Education
I’m currently completing my Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where I’ve focused on health disparities, data analysis, and applied research. Through graduate assistantships and practicum work, I’ve gained experience in STATA coding, field data collection, program evaluation, and community-based health initiatives. My training has prepared me to design, analyze, and interpret public health data to support equitable and evidence-driven health interventions. I will graduate in August 2025.
