Justin Kagan

I'm a front end web developer with seven years of experience creating customer facing websites.

I started my career in proper at a mid level marketing agency where I honed my skills in semantic HTML (with strong adherence to best practices for optimal SEO), CSS and JavaScript to create immersive, responsive and sometimes delightful user experiences. Projects would range from a simple 10-hour homepage/interior design to 100+ hours with extensive portfolio sections, staff bios, landing pages, etc.

More recently I moved to a much larger firm, rebuilding and expanding upon one of their flagship products- privacyguard.com. I created highly interactive landing and vanity pages and contributed to the front end of the mobile app. I also built countless marketing emails for a variety of clients, with an extensive testing process and commitment to UI/UX standards across all platforms (mobile, desktop, Outlook, etc). In the last year I've begun to build apps in React, along with contributing to a React platform to be used for a variety of products and services.
