I'm currently a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with a Fine Arts minor at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley while tutoring students in financial accounting.

My work experience has allowed me to immerse myself within the business world, from working the sales floor to handling customer data.

Student Tutor (January 2024-Present)

While being a student, I have been gaining valuable experience at the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley where I am employed as a tutor under the Peer-Led Team Learning program.

Office Assistance (September 2023-December 2023)

During my Fall 2023 semester, I worked with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s emergency loan department which simultaneously acted as a collections department. 

I compiled customer data whether physical or using online databases into Excel spreadsheets. 

Under my supervisors I was able to gain knowledge on handling sensitive information, the process of collections, among other valuable real world information.During my Fall 2023 semester, I worked with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s emergency loan department which simultaneously acted as a collections department. Sales Associate (September 2021-September 2023)

As a versatile Sales Associate at Marshalls, a part of the TJX Companies, I embraced a variety of roles within the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our valued customers. In addition to my responsibilities as a cashier and sales floor associate, I also handled duties in the fitting room.

Working as a Sales Associate at Marshalls not only improved my customer service and interpersonal skills but also instilled a sense of teamwork and adaptability. 

This experience enhanced my ability to thrive in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment that I hope to incorporate in my professional career.

I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Accountancy while maintaining a 3.92 GPA.

Texas State Technical College (August 2021-May 2023)

During my time spent at Texas State Technical College I completed my Academic Core Curriculum program. My courses were fully online and allowed me to learn how to facilitate online communication.
