Student Engineer/Designer September 2022-May 2023
- Designed tool to find flow rate through intergranular, highly branched, three-dimensional cracks usually caused by water stress corrosion
- Met regularly with company president regarding needs and possible resources for the project
- Researched potential materials for team design based on given conditions
- Fabricated apparatus to test customer supplied specimens (1.5” diameter x 0.5” thick steel disks) for leak behavior
- Provided experimental data in weekly progress and final reports to sponsor for future research
Aggie Lemon Racing College Station, TX
Student Mechanic January 2022-Present
- Assisting the team for 24 Hours of Lemons, an endurance race series with net $500 car budget
- Stripped weight, swapped V6 engine, installed safety features, power sanding, and replaced brake fluid for ’94 Mustang
- Achieved Judge’s Choice Award for team at MSR Speedway in Angleton, TX on November 2022
- Replaced springs and control arm bearings for race at Harris Hill Raceway in San Marcos, TX on March 2023
