Accounting / Finance
About Joseph Quinlan:
I am a Finance major at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business, complemented by a collateral in Supply Chain Management. I bring a strong foundation in financial analysis, market research, and client service, developed through both academic and leadership experiences. My involvement in the university’s Investment Club has provided hands-on exposure to portfolio management and Bloomberg analytics, while my role on the Interfraternity Council Judicial Board demonstrates my capacity for governance, policy enforcement, and ethical decision-making. Additionally, I successfully led a philanthropic campaign benefiting the Young-Williams Animal Shelter, raising over $1,000 to support critical veterinary care. My professional experience at The Honors Course has further honed my interpersonal and communication skills in a high-expectation environment. Recognized on the Dean’s List and awarded multiple academic scholarships, I combine analytical rigor, initiative, and integrity to deliver value in both team-based and independent settings.
Experience
I have developed a diverse professional background centered on financial analysis, customer service, and leadership. At The Honors Course, I consistently demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills while assisting members in a high-end service environment. My leadership as a Judicial Board member of the Interfraternity Council involved overseeing policy compliance and resolving organizational disputes, reinforcing my ability to manage responsibility with discretion and professionalism. Additionally, I led a philanthropic campaign—Pawsitive Hearts—raising over $1,000 to support animal welfare. My involvement in the University of Tennessee Investment Club has further strengthened my analytical skills, providing experience in managing mock portfolios and utilizing Bloomberg Software for market research and investment strategy development.
Education
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a collateral in Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business.
