About Joseph Limauro:
I’m Joseph Limauro, a proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran with 11 years of honorable service. During my time in the Marines, I developed strong leadership, logistics, and training expertise—skills that continue to shape the way I work and lead today.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Keiser University and currently work at the James A. Haley VA as a Material Handler. My professional focus is on advancing healthcare systems and supply chain operations, with a particular passion for improving Veteran care. I’m also preparing to begin my MBA in Psychology, aiming to bridge the gap between healthcare administration and mental health advocacy.
I thrive on teamwork, resilience, and creating solutions that drive meaningful change. Whether managing complex logistics, enhancing healthcare access, or supporting fellow Veterans, I’m motivated by making a lasting impact.
Experience
I am a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran with 11 years of honorable service and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration. My career spans leadership, logistics, and healthcare supply chain management, with a proven record of improving efficiency and supporting mission-critical operations.
At James A. Haley VA, I manage the movement, tracking, and organization of multi-million-dollar inventories, including medical equipment, supplies, and furniture. I collaborate with contracting officers, clinical staff, and logistics teams to streamline processes, enhance accountability, and ensure resources are available where they’re needed most. My efforts have supported both daily hospital operations and emergency readiness, such as hurricane response and continuity of care.
During my Marine Corps career, I led teams of up to 40 personnel, trained Marines in safety and operations, and managed hazardous material transport while maintaining a 0-incident record. I also oversaw fleet and equipment readiness valued in the millions, consistently exceeding mission requirements through disciplined planning and execution.
I thrive on bringing structure, accuracy, and reliability to complex systems. Whether leading people, managing resources, or strengthening healthcare delivery, my goal is to make a measurable impact in support of Veterans and the communities I serve.
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Keiser University, where I gained a solid foundation in healthcare systems, policy, ethics, and organizational management. My studies emphasized improving patient access, streamlining operations, and applying leadership principles to real-world healthcare challenges. Building on this foundation, I am preparing to pursue an MBA in Psychology to further connect healthcare administration with mental health advocacy and veteran care.
