Dokken Engineering, Engineer Intern,  10/22 - Present 

• Communicate ideas with team members at monthly meetings and provide updates on projects being worked on
• Developed submittals of plan sheets from 30% Design up to 100% Design, right before the project would commence labor. 
• Diagnose street lengths, areas and volume to create a list of needed amount and what type of asphalt rehabilitation will be needed for the project

Granite Construction, Project Engineer Intern, 05/2022 to 08/2022

• Complete the digging of a sewer line trench and backfill, as well as installing manholes and sand and grease interceptor 
• Compute quantity takeoffs on multiple projects for amounts of water lines, sewer lines, manholes to be installed along with necessary equipment
• Structured Change Orders responsible for effective cost estimating including labor, equipment, material and other specifications.
• Responsible for providing daily updates to the crew with the Plan of the Day, safety precautions and goals for the day/week.  
• Assist the foreman with tasks such as; adding rebar for a new set of stairs from cliff to the beach, examining pile cap concrete strength testing.

City of Santa Maria Building Division, Building Division Intern  06/2021to 08/2021

• Communicate the development of submitted/denied projects to customers or contractors and what steps followed 
• Approved the submission of plans and specifications, within a certain extent, and filed into the database
• Participated in site walks, going out to inspections with building inspectors to ensure the work being done was according to the plans and legal.
