• Make claim determinations to approve, deny and make recommendations based on the disability plan and supporting medical documentation. Determines benefits due and make timely claim payments and adjustments for offsets. Informs claimants of documentation required to process claims, required timeframes, payment information and claims status by phone, written correspondence and using a claims system. Used several proprietary software systems to handle the caseload while doing this job.

• Practiced Social Security Disability Law at a large national firm. Used administrative skills to order necessary evidence, develop legal arguments, strategies and write legal briefs.
