John Davis

I am a hard working person. Capable of working individually as well as in groups.  I am a team player that wants the the success of myself as well as those around me.  I have great interpersonal skills and strive to become a better worker and person.  I am engaged in my work and take pride in doing a job well done.  I have a bachelor's degree in Comparative Religion which has helped me to relate and understand people of all races, religions, and genders.  I am a positive and outgoing person who is easily approachable.  I like to interact with people, especially the elderly as they have so much to offer with their wisdom and varying life experiences.

I spent several years as a paraprofessional in an inner city elementary school in Minneapolis.  I worked with students individually as well as in groups of up to ten students.  I specialized in reading, writing, and math for kindergarteners to fifth graders.  I also had frequent interactions with parents and guardians in regards to their children's education and behavior.  I enjoyed engaging with the parents and guardians and helping them have successful students.  

I have most recently been a stay at home dad raising twin boys.  We did arts and crafts, took daily adventures to parks, museums, and zoos, as well as other fun outdoor and indoor activities.  

I graduated from Hamline University with a a bachelors degree in Comparative Religion.  This has helped me understand and relate to people of varying cultures.  I love learning about people's lives and their world views as I feel that improves my growth as a person.
