About John Castellani:

My name is John Castellani, I am a Joint NC State – UNC Asheville Mechatronics Student (Third Year). I have a love for robotics and want to be part of a company that can challenge and give me practical experience in the field!

Experience

Embedded Systems 

• Designed and coded an Embedded Wi-Fi vehicle. 

• Programmed a MSP430 Embedded system in C. 

• Soldered Components onto Printed Circuit Boards. 

 

 Student Research Intern 

 • Worked as a team to design and implement solar lithium-ion systems onto mobile microgrid vehicles. 

• Operated machinery such as a waterjet to design components. 

 

 Student and Mentor First Robotics

• Led the mechanical team, competition team, and strategy team.

 • Designed mechanisms using CAD and 3D Printing.

 • Volunteered 300+ hours running youth robotics programs as a mentor and assistant coach.
