• Established, executed, reviewed, and evaluated laboratory safety and compliance policies and procedures for operating functions of laboratory; provide training to all laboratory personnel.
• Supported the company on communication with legal counsel and the safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulations.
• Facilitated internal and external audits, support company’s ISO or CAP certification and accreditation.
• Head responsibility to maintain laboratory logs, record retention, report requirement and other files as established by accrediting agencies.
• Perform responsibility of Laboratory Document Control.
• Ensure lab instrument/equipment calibration and maintenance procedures are established and executed; lead and oversee IQ/OP/PQ for required equipment.
• Analyze and suggest selected purchase equipment and monitor maintenance and service agreement.
• Analyze and select serum/plasma samples from vendors for purchase, build up specimen bank and manage the bank inventory.
