Joel Samuel Rhine

Accomplished cross functional project manager with an expertise in GIS applications development and data analysis. 

I leveraged my masters in mechanical and aerospace engineering to build drones and taught my self software development to develop pipelines to process the aerial imagery. Eventually I found my self leading a team of GIS engineers, mechanical engineers and software developers. For the past 5 years I have led and managed multiple stakeholder - some of which include Government Departments of Afghanistan, Yemen, India and USA; and donor organizations like The World Bank and German Bank of Reconstruction. By the end of my fifth year I had set up a self-sustained technical department and led 6 end-to-end projects meeting 100% client satisfaction. Now, working at The World Bank - I have developed custom GIS pipelines that have decreased turn-around time by an average of 85%. I can adapt and learn; and tend to become the go-to guy almost aways at my place of work.

I have received a BS and MS in mechanical and aerospace engineering. That coupled with my experience in software development, data analysis and project management - truly make me a Technical Project Manager.
