During COVID, it became increasingly difficult to thrive as a preschool administrator.  I needed a new challenge in my professional life and decided to go back to school to pursue my MBA in Forensic Accounting, a field that had always held my interest. Shortly after receiving my degree, I obtained my Certified Fraud Examiner designation to further my understanding of financial crimes. 

I have experience ranging from clerk to controller, which has included fraud detection, some of which have been short-term engagements not included in my resume. 

I received my MBA, with a concentration in Forensic Accounting, from UNC-Pembroke. I obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential in July, 2025.
