Relevant experience for Correctional Nursing: Previous Clinical Director at 3 Facilities. Smith County Jail, Tyler, Texas. TDCJ Hodge Unit, Rusk, Texas and Privately owned Prison Billy Moore Unit, Overton, Texas.

Previously trained: Correctional Officer, Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas. Lever II Reserve Police Officer Tyler Jr. College, Tyler, Texas.

Served on Smith County STAR (SWAT) team to create and manage a Medical Team of trained Emergency responders including 2 Emergency Room Physicians, 2 Paramedics and myself. 

I have experience as a Legal Nurse Consultant and testified in Federal Court more than 300 times on behalf of Smith County Jail and East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. I went on to work full time as a Legal Nurse Consultant for 2 separate Law firms (both Defense and Plaintiff) in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas.
