I embarked on my educational journey at the College of San Mateo, where I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing. This experience not only equipped me with the essential skills of patient care but also fueled my desire to make a positive impact in the healthcare field. I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health at San Jose State University while awaiting acceptance into a nursing program. My journey into nursing was profoundly influenced by the experiences I've shared with my family, especially during moments when nurses played a crucial role in our lives. Witnessing their compassion, dedication, and impact left an indelible mark, motivating me to step into the nursing profession and contribute to the well-being of others. When I'm not immersed in my professional pursuits, you'll often find me engaging in outdoor adventures. Fishing and hiking are my go-to activities to unwind and reconnect with nature's wonders. Staying active is a vital part of my routine, and you can catch me at the gym, embracing the challenges of physical fitness. And of course, there's no denying the allure of a captivating movie – it's my way of unwinding and transporting myself to different worlds.

I worked as a waiter at the Menlo Circus Club for an extensive period of 6 years. In this role, I gained extensive customer service experience, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for club members and guests. I sharpened my interpersonal skills, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic for United States Army Reserve (8 years):

Serving as a 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic in the United States Army Reserve for 8 years, I played a crucial role in maintaining and repairing military vehicles. This experience allowed me to develop a strong sense of discipline, attention to detail, and technical proficiency. I contributed to the readiness and functionality of the Army's vehicle fleet. 

Package Handler at United Parcel Service (7 years):

I also excel in efficiently processing and handling packages while prioritizing the well-being of both myself and my team members. With a background of 7 years in the industry, I have honed my abilities to ensure the secure and timely movement of shipments while preventing workplace injuries. 

My combined background in customer service, technical maintenance, and logistics showcases my adaptability and commitment to excellence. With extensive experience in the United States Army Reserve, I bring a strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and dedication to accomplishing tasks effectively.

I completed a rigorous nursing program at the College of San Mateo, where I obtained a solid foundation in healthcare practices and patient-centered care. Throughout my time there, I acquired extensive theoretical knowledge in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical ethics. Complementing my classroom learning, I engaged in hands-on clinical rotations at various healthcare facilities, where I developed practical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination. This education has equipped me to deliver compassionate and effective nursing care while collaborating seamlessly with medical teams to enhance patient outcomes.
