I am a nurse practitioner whose career has been driven by purpose, resilience, and a deep love for the nursing profession. For more than 18 years, nursing has been both my calling and my craft—one that has allowed me to stand beside patients and families during some of their most vulnerable moments while advocating fiercely for compassionate, equitable care.

My passion for mental health nursing is rooted in connection. I believe in meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and delivering care that honors the whole person. Whether working in psychiatric emergency settings, inpatient units, outpatient programs, or community-based care, I bring empathy, cultural awareness, and clinical precision to every interaction. I thrive in complex environments that demand calm leadership, adaptability, and thoughtful decision-making.

My academic journey reflects that same dedication. Advancing from bedside nursing to dual nurse practitioner training was a deliberate and deeply meaningful pursuit. Each degree strengthened not only my clinical knowledge but also my confidence as a provider, educator, and leader. I am energized by learning, committed to professional growth, and proud to model lifelong education for both colleagues and students.

am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 18 years of experience delivering high-quality care across psychiatric emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings. My background includes extensive work in high-acuity environments such as CPEP, trauma-informed psychiatric units, and crisis stabilization programs, where I provide comprehensive assessments, risk evaluation, medication management, and interdisciplinary care planning. Throughout my career, I have taken on leadership and supervisory roles, mentored nursing staff and students, and contributed to care model development aimed at improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency. I am recognized for my adaptability, clinical judgment, and strong advocacy for underserved and vulnerable populations.

My academic journey reflects a deep commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence in advanced nursing practice. I completed my Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Mount Saint Mary College, building on my Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Long Island University. My foundational nursing education includes both associate and bachelor’s degrees in nursing, complemented by earlier dual bachelor’s degrees that strengthened my communication skills, cultural competence, and analytical thinking. Together, my education has prepared me to integrate evidence-based practice, clinical leadership, and patient-centered care across diverse healthcare settings.
