Jennifer Neiner

Jennifer Leigh Neiner, a dedicated reading coach, currently works for the Palm Beach County School District at Lake Worth Community High School. With a passion for fostering positive change in education, Jennifer has always been a catalyst for educational improvement. She utilizes her extensive educational experiences to implement effective strategies and improve not only instruction, but also to break down barriers that negatively affect the staff and students at her school site. Her innovative approaches and unwavering dedication have not only contributed to improved learning outcomes, but have also earned her recognition as an exemplary teacher over the span of a 30 year career. Jennifer has served as the West Regional Teacher of the Year from the State of Tennessee, and also earned the prestigious award presented to one educator within the school district: The Department of Curriculum and Accountability Memorial Award for Excellence. She is empowered to create the best working environments in order to increase positive change and manage productivity.

My professional experiences have included many varied and unique educational settings.  I have been in field of education for 30 years and have taught/tutored students from kindergarten through college. All of these professional experiences have provided me with opportunities to work with varied ages, cultures, and groups needing specialized attention.  Having worked since I was sixteen in many capacities from grocery stores, to retail environments and cosmetic companies, I have learned to understand my customers' needs and provide them with options based on these needs. Working with the public in many capacities, I know how to de-escalate potential problems and create a positive resolution for customer satisfaction.  Within the realm of my educational positions, working with all stakeholders is essential - whether it is students, administration, parents, or the community. Communicating effectively is key to working with all stakeholders in order to grow positive change and growth.  Providing opportunities to establish strong connections and collaboration with all stakeholders supports powerful, lasting partnerships that meet the needs of particular organizations.

My latest degree in education was earning my Master's in Reading, grades K-12 with all electives in Administration.  This degree allowed me to apply for various educational positions and aligned m trajectory toward more of an administrative/coaching position.
