Hello! My name is Jenna and my passion is helping others. Through various internships and job opportunities, I have had the pleasure of working with people of all ages and backgrounds making each experience, unique. I have a passion of working and connecting with others and am eager to expand upon my experiences and professional development.
Experience
Currently, I am an administrative assistant for a large retail company. Through my role as an administrative assistant, I work directly with our Assistant and Store Manager to ensure hiring needs are met, supplies are ordered, schedules are published for our team, among many other things. I have hands on experience as a customer service specialist for the same retailer and have been with this company for 5 years.
Previously, I drew on my social work degree and started my career as an outreach coordinator. In this role, I developed strong relationships with the senior population. I began my journey as an Outreach Coordinator in a nearby senior center at the beginning of the pandemic. This helped strengthen my communication skills as my only interaction and engagement with my client base was through the telephone. Some of my many roles included application assistance, meal registration and distribution, activity assistant as well as many other roles.
Education
I graduated with my Bachelors in Social Work from Western New England back in 2019 where I balanced my degree while also being a student-athlete and maintaining a part-time job.
