I am Jarvis Anderson, an IT Support Technician with a proven track record at Velocita Technologies, where I enhanced IT efficiency and spearheaded marketing strategies, significantly boosting web traffic. From June 2024 to December 2024, I worked as a Marketing/IT Intern at Velocita Technologies in Joliet, IL. In this role, I supported the IT department with technology rollout and maintenance, provided technical support, resolving IT issues to maximize productivity for team members, and completed assigned tasks ahead of schedule, demonstrating strong time management skills and commitment to project success. I also dispatched tickets to the IT team to assist with completion efficiency and participated in cybersecurity awareness training, enhancing the IT team's preparedness against potential cyber threats. I organized and maintained IT inventory, ensuring all hardware and software assets were accurately accounted for and in optimal condition.

My marketing responsibilities included tracking social media trends and adapting to attract target follower demographic, conducting market research and competitor analysis to inform search marketing strategies, crafting and implementing strategies to increase search visibility and website traffic, and developing and deploying content marketing strategies to improve organic search traffic. I also assisted in creating written, video, and image content for marketing channels, prepared weekly updates and reports to track growth and success rates of marketing campaigns, designed and presented social media campaign ideas, and created engaging content for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

In December 2024, I received the Connectwise Help Desk Technician, Project Manager, and Dispatcher certification.

I hold an Associate of Arts in Web Design, Social Media, and Development from Joliet Junior College, earned from August 2021 to May 2023. During my time there, I was awarded a Web Accessibility Specialist Certification, a Full Stack Developer Certification, and a Web Design Certification. To further my career, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, which I anticipate completing by 2026.
