I am a Public Service Administrator: Working under administrative direction of  the Assistant Superintendent of Programs. Organizes, Plans, executes, controls  and evaluates the operation of the Health Care Unit. Organizes the goals and  objectives; establishes priorities among assignments and establishes time of  completion; communicates with staff members on all three shifts; implements  Policies and procedures; serves as a Supervisor.

practice of recent developments in the field of nursing.  

• Has knowledge and experience of teaching methods used in  

In-service training and has ability to develop staffing plans to  

revise such plans to meet emergency requirements. 

• Able to develop and maintain harmonious relationships among  staff; to provide constructive criticism and counseling to alleviate  work related problems; administering disciplinary actions as  

warranted and conducting monthly staff meetings. 

• Responsible for interpreting, implementing and enforcing policies,  procedure in the areas of patient care; coordinate nursing  

practices and procedures with those of other department  

discipline heads to ensure smooth functioning of the unit. 

• Performing Annual Evaluations for the employees, objective  

setting employees for the newly hired employees as well as  

training employees to meet the facility requirements. 

• Implementing current Policies and protocol to meet JACOH  & IDPH requirements to fulfill state of Illinois facility codes. • Monitoring the safety & security of the unit, medical  

equipment and supplies. 

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
