About Janis Bennight:
I have worked for the Department of Public Safety for 25 years as an Administrative Assistant. I help with sensitive reports, time entry and overtime. For 4 areas and assist the district when needed. I order supplies for 4 areas, setup help with injured employees and their families and I also help with employees that have passed away and their families to assist with funerals and anything they might need.
Experience
25 years I have been with DPS helping in all aspects with law enforcement, payroll, entry and exit employees. I worked for 2 years in a bank with the Trust Department for the Senior Vice President setting up trusts.
I also worked for two years at Brown and Root in their Accounts Payroll Department.
Education
Graduated from High School in 1979 and went to Lamar University for 2 years.
