James Mincey

Hi, my name is James Mincey. I am originally from Atlanta Georgia, but I recently transfer to New York City to continue my passion and career for the entertainment industry. I started my training in the entertainment field in Atlanta Georgia with Xcel Talent Agency as a dancer and actor for almost 4 years. And worked my way to be an working Intern with Xcel Talent Agency for 2 years now. I always had a passion for the entertainment industry since I was child, and still fighting to make that dream to a reality. 

My first professional experience as a entertainer was when I booked my first contract with Six Flags Over Georgia as a dancer at the age of 16. And I danced with the company for 2 seasons from 2018-2020. Afterwards I transferred to Las Vegas in 2020 to continue my training under the University of Nevada Las Vegas, to work for my BFA in dance and choreography. Which led me to participate in the 64th Annual Grammys in 2021. I moved back to Atlanta Georgia in 2022 to start my journey with Xcel Talent Agency as dancer. Which led me to book a episode of Will Trent, COPA America, and as well work my first commercial with Delta Airlines in 2024. And not only I was a dancer and actor for Xcel, but I was offered a Internship with the Agency to learn more insights of the entertainment industry from 2023 - 2025. 

I graduated from Pebblebrook High School as a CCCEPA (Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts) magnet student as a Dance major and Vocal and Drama minor in 2020

I am a student at University of Nevada Las Vegas as a BFA dance major in choreography and performance.
