About Jala Phillips:
Currently as a Apparel Sales Lead and previously a Customer Service Specialist and an Apparel Sales Associate at DICK'S Sporting Goods, I deliver excellent service to customers, handle inquiries and complaints, process returns and exchanges, and maintain the store's appearance and inventory. I have developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills through these roles, as well as speed training and team leadership abilities. I have also contributed to increasing sales and customer loyalty by providing product recommendations, upselling, and cross-selling.
In addition to my work experience, I have pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary science with a concentration in professional sciences and a minor in biology at VCU. I am on the pre-med track. My goal is to become a dermatologist and help people with skin conditions and diseases. I am actively seeking resources and advice to prepare for medical school and the field of dermatology. I am passionate about learning new things, exploring different perspectives, and making a positive impact on people's lives.
