About Jairo Ortega Mendez:

My name is Jairo Ortega Mendez, I have been interested in the IT field since i was a little kid playing on computers. I’m currently doing a cyber security bootcamp for NCState, I love everything about Cyber it’s very out of my comfort zone but in a good way. I want to gain more experience and knowledge, get my hands dirty and try new things. I’m currently working for a retail company in the outlets near me. Ralph Lauren really help me get comfortable talking to people, I really got good with talking to people. it definitely help me grow and help me become how i am now. in high school i did ROTC. ROTC showed me how to lead and to listen to my leaders. I think thats everything about me.

Experience

I work for a retail company called Ralph Lauren, I started working there in the beginning of feb of 2021, I’ve been around customer before when i used to work construction as a summer job but with retail i got to see people when they are having good and bad days. I always keep it professional.  

Education

I graduated High School, I am currently working and studying at the same time. I do a cyber security bootcamp for NCState
