My name is Jacob, I am a US Army veteran who served four years in active duty as a water treatment specialist in overseas assignments and in the United States. I have a bachelor's degree in IT with an emphasis in cybersecurity, a master's in cybersecurity management, and am currently enrolled in a certificate of completion in project management. I have had a lot of hands-on training throughout my time in school through Microsoft, different operating systems, Linux, and throughout the military, and hands-on with cybersecurity training and Microsoft Excel throughout my time in service. I have the ability to adapt to many different challenges and am willing to learn how to complete any task by asking appropriate questions when necessary.

Has practicality in network monitoring, data analysis, and virtual environments, with hands-on experience using tools like Wireshark, Python, SQL, and Microsoft Azure. Skilled in equipment oversight, compliance with HIPAA and security standards, and leading teams to complete mission-critical objectives. Holds a secret security clearance and a certificate of completion in project management. Adept at adapting quickly to new challenges, following SOPs, and delivering results under pressure.

Completed a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with an emphasis in Cybersecurity and recently earned a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management from Grand Canyon University. Academic experience includes hands-on work with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Amazon WorkSpaces), virtual machines, ethical hacking, network security, risk assessments, and compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as HIPAA.
