Through my coursework in Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, and Accounting, I have built a solid foundation in the principles necessary to succeed in this role. Unlike many candidates at the internship level, I have validated my technical skills by earning my Microsoft Excel Certification. I am comfortable navigating spreadsheets, managing data, and utilizing functions to drive analysis, allowing me to contribute to your team immediately. Beyond the classroom, my experience as a collegiate baseball player at both Valparaiso University and Concordia St. Paul has been my greatest training ground for the corporate world. Balancing a rigorous NCAA athletic schedule with full-time academic responsibilities has forced me to master time management, perform under pressure, and understand the true meaning of teamwork. I possess the grit to handle tight deadlines and the adaptability to support the team. Additionally, my background as an Academic Coach at Eagan High School has refined my ability to communicate complex information. Finance is not just about crunching numbers, but also about conveying what they mean.
