Jack Sluys

A competitive, hard-working individual who currently works as an Analyst for Fat Cat Entertainment, and recently graduated from the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business with a Bachelor of Science – BS in Business Administration with a Concentration in Economics as well as a Master of Science – MS in Applied Statistics and Decision-Making. While completing all of this, was a five-year starter on the men’s varsity soccer team, member of the dean’s list, selected to the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and the Student Athlete Leadership Academy, was team captain, the most valuable player, and a two-time member of the all-academic district team.

Since graduating, I have worked for three different firms: Fat Cat Entertainment, TDM (a telecom & cloud services distributor), and the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI). 

First, at Fat Cat Entertainment, where I currently work, I'm in charge of analyzing the performance, trends, and ticket markets of every major professional sports organization and major college programs across every major professional sports league in North America. Then, based on the analysis of each team, trend, and market, organizing and pricing hundreds of thousands of tickets across all major professional North American sports competitions. Also, in charge of evaluating internal office work and resolving any mistakes and/or errors that could result in significant financial losses to the company.

Second, at TDM, I developed and interpreted financial models, forecasted projections, and prepared different schedules for several departments. My work allowed for an improvement in financial understanding and interdepartmental organization

Lastly, at AUVSI, I performed monthly financial reports and a variety of different data reports for the entire company. My time at these two firms has given me real work experience that I’m excited to take into future endeavors. 

I'm a graduate of the Fordham University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science – BS in Business Administration with a Concentration in Economics as well as a Master of Science – MS in Applied Statistics and Decision-Making.
