Isabella Davila Salinas

Professionally, I have created illustrations and worked on graphic design projects in a wide range of industries, including fashion, music, automobiles, games, and finance. I have made illustrations to be printed on luxury bags, manufactured into board games and puzzles, published in magazines/articles, used as cover art for a song, and sent as marketing materials like posters, postcards, and social media posts. I have also designed packaging like gift boxes, packing paper, editorial layouts, and brand identity content like style guides, logos, and websites. Additionally, I have completed a variety of freelance illustrations, such as t-shirts, posters, and character designs. Throughout all of these experiences, I have acquired the ability to apply my illustration and design skills to different scenarios, and adapt accordingly to align with clients' goals and brand identities and create visually engaging work. 

I graduated from the Parsons School of Design in New York City with a Bachelor's degree in Illustration. This education allowed me to develop and practice technical design skills such as composition, color theory, shape language, typography, anatomy, and industry-standard softwares such as the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere), Procreate, and Blender. Furthermore, it fostered a deep understanding of the creative skills needed to make impactful work, such as concept generation, using design for creative solutions, visual communication and language, and project management.
