As an accomplished and versatile leader in advanced digital clinical method development and transnational clinical research, I offer over 15 years of experience in architecting diagnostic and connected health devices from concept to commercialization. My research interests center around cutting-edge biophotonics technologies and tools to collect clinical data and biological insights into clean, actionable data for integration, visualization, and analysis, with a focus on digitizing clinical development and clinical trials.

I specialize in the vertical integration of multiple disciplines, including photonics, optical imaging, electrical engineering, signal processing, micro-nano technology, biology, and clinical technology. I have a deep background in research and development, with expertise across a wide range of optical imaging systems, wearable sensor technologies, medical devices, on-device intelligence, biosensors, hybrid sensor fusion platform developments, image and signal processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

My extensive knowledge of innovative digital tools and techniques, including wearables, digital health technologies, data capture and data analytics methods, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, allows me to effectively address the challenges faced in drug discovery and consumer product development. I have a practical understanding of how to leverage these tools to provide recommendations and insights based on case studies across consumer clinical products, and I am able to accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries from the bench to medical care.

Throughout my career, I have navigated healthcare and technology’s adjacent and evolving landscapes, with a focus on wearable sensors, connected health devices, and AI in clinical trial research and patient outcome research.
