Hariprasad Goud Edgi

I'm a passionate and detail-oriented master's student who is currently pursuing an MSA in Applied Aviation Safety at Florida Institute of Technology. With a solid background in aeronautical engineering from Malla Reddy College of Engineering and Technology, he brings a blend of technical knowledge and practical experience to the table.

 My expertise spans airport planning and design, aviation safety analysis, human-computer interaction, and UI/UX design. His technical toolkit includes proficiency in AutoCAD, CATIA, ANSYS CFX, JMP, Python, Figma, and various safety assessment tools like CAST, STPA, FTA, and FMEA. He’s also skilled in technical writing, 3D printing, and risk assessment.

Hands-on research experience complements my academic journey. Notable projects include AI-based automated runway taxiing systems, a CAST analysis of the Lion Air Boeing 737 MAX accident, and the design and thermal analysis of electromagnetic propulsion systems and automotive disk brakes. He also participated in the prestigious STAMP workshop by MIT to deepen his understanding of systemic accident modeling.

I have a diverse background combining academic research, practical experience, and technical skills in aviation safety, airport operations, and system analysis. Currently, I work at Panther Dining Hall at Florida Tech, where I manage both front-end and back-end operations while ensuring safety compliance and smooth workflow.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Aviation Safety at Florida Institute of Technology, with a GPA of 3.83/4.0. My coursework includes Aviation Safety Management Systems, Airport Planning & Design, Human Performance, Aviation Accident Investigation, and Human-Computer Interaction—providing me with a solid foundation in both the technical and human-centered aspects of aviation safety.

I hold a Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering from Malla Reddy College of Engineering and Technology, where I built a strong base in aircraft systems, propulsion, and structural analysis.
