Ghazala Siddiqi

 As an ambitious professional with leadership proficiency and extensive Communications experience, I was thrilled to learn about this opening. My professional background and industrialist drive make me an ideal candidate to fill this position. A Communications Specialist for 20 years and a masterful storyteller, I have a published writing portfolio with a focus on content generation, branding and behavioral change communications. The foundation of my career has been in development, and my most current portfolio reflects my work with three start-ups and project-based work. 

My most recent 3 years of work has been dedicated to healthcare communications, working diligently in providing access to communities and health centers with lifesaving COVID-19 related treatment and logistical support. I have worked to lead teams to provide nationwide coverage towards healthcare communication needs to include strategic planning from project launch to completion. 

Previously, I have led the communications team in projects throughout Pakistan for post disaster recovery, creating resilient cities and awareness for sustainable urbanization to include 12 years working toward climate change mitigation. This included aligning with other government agencies and other NGOs with similar mandates to arrange and participate in forums that would help create water related sustainable urbanization initiatives at all stakeholder levels. My past experience with USAID has given me the opportunity to work in several projects based creating economic growth opportunities in semi-urban or rural sectors. 

I thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced situations and strive for positive results through collaborative work and integrated marketing and communications applications such as social media marketing, re-branding, promotion and media relations. I possess expertise in researching and acumen for maximizing performance and inspiring colleagues. I am able to visualize success and identify unconventional yet highly effective strategies for achieving it. My experience in filmmaking has helped elevate the overall communications outreach expected in today’s world.
