I am interested in researching and teaching biology, physiology, anatomy, neurology and medical entomology. I focus my interest on teaching and making research with students. Recently, working hand in hand with a multidisciplinary team, we venture into biosemiotics which deals with the language of nature. I have published papers on this topic.

-Setting up and working with laboratory techniques, i.e. servospheres, olfactometers, electrophysiological stations (GC-EAD, SSR), gas chromatography (GC), mass spectrometry (MS) and other analytical chemistry techniques (extraction and purification of semiochemicals), as well as applied optics techniques (biospeckle) and statistical methods. As well as… experience rearing and maintenance of triatomines, mosquitoes, sand flies, ticks, Diaprepes weevils, Colorado potatoe bettles (CPBs) and other arthropod colonies
