I have a proven track record of building high-performing teams that drive operational excellence across diverse industries, including aerospace, automotive, and logistics. With a strong foundation in engineering and business (MBA), I am committed to lifelong learning and recently obtained my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in October 2024. My passion lies in developing young leaders and sharing tools to further their success. Over the past 20 years, I have volunteered with community and non-profit boards across multiple states and continue to serve with pride in the Triangle area.     I am considering a growth opportunity in teaching in the next year if time and schedule permits.

Accomplished professional with extensive experience in optimizing processes and driving operational excellence across diverse sectors, including aerospace, automotive, and industrial manufacturing. Demonstrates a strong foundation in continuous improvement and process optimization, with proven expertise in spearheading quality management systems, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards, and navigating complex regulatory environments. Skilled in translating strategic ideas into actionable plans while managing carrier, customer, and supplier relationships. I developed my engineering and quality practitioner skills through roles of increasing responsibility at United Technologies (5 years) and Ford Motor Company (12 years). To bolster my business acumen, I obtained an MBA from Purdue University and, upon graduation, accepted management roles at AMG Engineering and Linde Advanced Coating Technologies. My curiosity led me to pursue certification in Lean/Six Sigma, and I subsequently made a career pivot into logistics, spending seven years with Amazon. 

Throughout my career, I've also served on non-profit and community-based boards, learning the importance of engaging and valuing people to accomplish goals where the need was greatest. These volunteer involvements have helped me become a better leader in the corporate world, a better family member and citizen.

In the summer of 2024, I dedicated time to enhancing my project management skills. I joined the Project Management Institute and participated in an intensive 8-week course focusing on both Predictive and Agile project management methodologies. On October 15, 2024, I successfully passed the certification exam, further solidifying my expertise in this field.
