Over 40 years in many professional roles in the fire protection industry, I bring a skill set that encompasses business management, sales, project management, and leadership as well as technical proficiency that extends to many disciplines. I have successfully managed teams of people and multiple projects in multiple locations across the country. I have also excelled in residential real estate sales, coaching, mentoring, and teaching. I thrive in collaborative settings, leveraging my communication skills to foster productive team environments. Peers, superiors, and clients consistently acknowledge my professionalism. I have experience with managing General PC hardware and software maintenance for servers and workstations as well as advanced knowledge and application of popular software from Microsoft and Google. As a Fire Protection Project Manager, Design Manager, and Designer, I worked on projects large
and small across the country throughout my career. I constantly worked with and built
relationships with not only my internal team of Management, Design, and Field crews but also
Architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and local Fire Marshals to understand their
specific needs and requirements and get jobs completed on time and at or under budget. In
most cases, my duties included Project Management, Fire Sprinkler sales, or collaborating with
the Sales Team, Project Estimating, Suppliers and Vendors, Time tracking, Fire Sprinkler System
Design, Hydraulic and Seismic Calculations, Material listing, Project pricing, and purchasing.
