Emily Murphy

I am originally from Ontario, Canada. I have lived and worked away from family for 10 years. As my community has started to have children, I have seen the importance of support for postpartum families. While some people live close to family or have friends that are able to hop in to help, not everyone is in that position. I am grateful to have the opportunity to fill that gap, during this especially transformative period. I have worked in child care for more than 15 years. I have experience with children from the newborn stage to pre-teen, which allows me to support families in a myriad of ways. I have worked as a personal chef, and specialize in nourishing foods for postpartum families. While I am not a medical practitioner, I can help identify perinatal mood disorders, and act as a resource to recommend adjuvant therapies during the postpartum period.
