About Emily McHale:

Emily is a marketing and strategy professional with deep expertise in payments and emerging financial technologies. She spent seven years at American Express, earning multiple promotions across roles in acquisition marketing, loyalty partnerships, and prepaid product strategy. Emily began her career driving prospect acquisition for Consumer Cards, including leading paid search efforts and supporting the Platinum Card relaunch.

 She later transitioned into partnership marketing, where she managed relationships with 25+ loyalty partners. In her final role at Amex, she led creative strategy for prepaid marketing campaigns and collaborated with key partners to drive B2B growth.

Emily earned her MBA from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, where she was a Forté Fellow and selected as a Marketing Fellow. During her MBA, she served as a strategy consultant on projects with PayPal and H-E-B, focusing on payments landscape analysis and omnichannel marketing strategy respectively.

Following graduation, Emily joined Starbucks' Digital Customer Experience team, where she now serves as a Senior Project Manager and leads strategic initiatives within the payments space. She drives cross-functional infrastructure projects, manages strategic vendor relationships, and partners with internal and external teams to activate co-marketing campaigns to elevate the customer experience.
