Ella Kohler

As a motivated and driven sophomore student at Texas Christian University, I am pursuing a degree in Communication Studies, combining my passion for analytical thinking with leadership skills honed over years of involvement in both academic and extracurricular activities. With a solid academic foundation, highlighted by achieving a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and graduating Maxima Cum Laude, I am committed to excelling. My leadership abilities were showcased during my tenure as Co-Captain of Varsity Cheerleading and as a Student Government Member, where I learned the importance of teamwork, discipline, and effective communication.

I am actively involved in community outreach, having dedicated over 150 hours to volunteering at programs that support underprivileged children and assist local food banks. Through my involvement with the Porter Billups Leadership Academy and other organizations, I developed a deep understanding of the power of giving back to the community while also refining my leadership and project management skills.

I have broadened my experience through various roles, including working as an Assistant Property Manager, Lifeguard, and Barista, where I have further developed my time management, customer service, and multitasking abilities. I am passionate about applying these skills in the real world, where I seek to gain internship experience that allows me to merge my academic knowledge with real-world challenges. I am excited about opportunities to grow and contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while further developing my expertise in communications.

I have gained diverse professional experience through various roles, including:

Life Time Fitness (Barista): I provided exceptional customer service, contributed to daily sales goals, managed inventory, restocked supplies, minimized waste, and maintained a clean, welcoming workspace.

Copperleaf Pool - Doherty Management (Lifeguard): I ensured guest safety by responding swiftly to emergencies, utilizing my CPR and First Aid certification, and assisted in planning poolside parties to create a fun and safe environment for guests.

Assistant Property Manager: I improved financial processes by streamlining expense management and ensuring accurate reporting. I oversaw membership fee collections and built strong relationships with members to enhance their overall experience.

I am currently a sophomore at Texas Christian University (TCU), pursuing a major in Communications with a minor in General Business. I am working towards my bachelor's degree and aiming to build a strong foundation in both effective communication strategies and business principles.
