Eddie Hajek

As a system administrator at FirstEnergy, I design, configure, and implement IT infrastructure for an ADMS environment, using PowerCLI, HCI, and VMware skills. I have over 12 years of hands-on experience in data center architecture, data center migrations, and virtualization solutions, serving clients in highly regulated and compliant industries.

I also run my own technology consulting business, Cardinal Bridge Technology LLC, where I provide full-stack web development, project management, DR design, and website recovery services. I am passionate about delivering innovative and reliable IT solutions that meet the needs and expectations of my customers.

I have extensive experience in IT infrastructure and system architecture. I’ve successfully designed and implemented robust IT solutions, managed complex projects, and optimized systems to enhance performance and security. My background in leading cross-functional teams, along with my knack for problem-solving and innovation, positions me as a valuable asset in the tech industry. I'm well-versed in the latest technologies and industry trends, ensuring that organizations stay ahead of the curve with my expertise.

I earned my Associates of Science degree in Computer Network Systems.  I am currently back in school at Western Governors University where I have completed 55% of my Bachelors of Science degree, majoring in Information Technology.  I am on track to graduate in 2026.
