About Dorthea West:

I am a very motivated to make positive changes to the Event industry and help as many people as I can while I work. My goal as an Event Manager would be to have everyone enjoy themselves as much as possible while still keeping everyone safe. I am creative and have the potential to create very unique events or activities. I pride myself on my attention to detail and organizational skills.

Public Programs & Special Events Intern for the Jacksonville Museum of Science & History.

I am completing a 520 hour internship with the museum where I have had the oppurtunity to work on multiple different kinds of events. I am also getting the oppurtunity to plan my own event and execute it. I have learned the behind the scenes steps to take events from ideas to reality.
