Communication Summary: Supervises, installs, employs, maintains, troubleshoots and assists users with battlefield signal support systems, terminal devices, satellite communications equipment and automated telecommunications computer systems.

Operations Sergeant in a deployed Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, comprised of nine companies and an assigned strength of 1,443 Soldiers in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom VI; principal enlisted advisor to the Battle Captain; coordinates battle space assets and tracks movements of Combat Logistic Patrols (CLPs); collects and reports line of sight communication data used for optimizing real world VHF-FM networks; ensures timely reporting of sensitive items,
