Production Planner

Responsible for the building and maintenance of the production schedule for 2 bottling lines to ensure maximum efficiency while delivering maximum production to provide best in class service. Also responsible for ordering ALL packaging and ingredients needed for scheduled production to ensure just in time delivery.  Specific duties include:

• Create monthly production schedules based on customer Purchase Orders
• Adjust schedules daily based on current production runs & material/ingredient availability.
• Report out any schedule changes as needed.
• Place purchase orders for all required ingredients & packaging material needed to complete production.
• Follow up with suppliers for PO’s placed to ensure timely deliveries. 
• Work closely with Production/Inventory Control/QA to ensure successful implementation of planned production.
• Manage “old age” and “expiring” ingredients.
• Work closely with Operations Managers to ensure schedule is attainable in terms of production volumes and staffing requirements.
• Main contact for plant personnel regarding priorities if any issues arise during any given shift that would result in a deviation from the planned schedule.

Manager, Master Planner

Perform all duties related to production planning and inventory control specifically for the vegetable business unit within supply chain planning group to deliver best in class service.  Specific duties include:

• Create monthly production and purchase plans for raw product varietals as well as weekly labeling plans for assigned items
• Create & execute distribution plans on a daily basis to maintain 98% case fill rate at least cost production and freight expense while maintaining appropriate weeks of supply threshold
• Manage “old age” inventory to reduce unneeded inventory to minimize costs
• Successfully execute new item launches working with variety of cross function team members and co-packers
• Maintain DRP & SCP planning and replenishment tools to enable more efficient use of the supply chain
