He has served as a Certified Legal Intern with the San Diego Public Defender’s Office, where he supported felony casework and appeared in court for arraignments, pleas, and sentencing. His financial background includes roles in loan compliance and auditing at MUFG Union Bank and Disney Financial, where he ensured adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.

Earlier in his career, David held leadership and consulting roles in finance, including as CFO at Evolution Brands and as a Registered Representative at T3 Trading Group, managing high-volume trades and SEC compliance. He also led operations at ABI Document Support Services, where he managed staff, ensured service delivery for legal documentation, and consistently exceeded performance goals over a seven-year tenure.
