Technology / Internet
About David Lynch:
I have 7 plus years working in technology, primarily in desktop and applications support roles in K-12 School Districts, as well as private schools. In those roles I supported teachers and administration, as well as the student base when addressing their technology concerns.
This could range from assigned laptops and devices, to projectors and display boards, MFP printers and Networking.
I have experience with inventory systems, ticket systems, network and firewall management, as well as installing and configuration of display boards and projectors.
I'm a critical thinker and a problem solver, I love asking the right questions that bring about the root of the problem. The only thing I love more is being able to provide a solution that addresses all concerns. Desktop Support is my specialty because I feel a connection with the user I don't feel in phone support roles. Being in front of the problem with the user, having them walk me through their process we can discover solutions together, giving the user a greater chance to self resolve their issues in the future.
It's these learning opportunities that motivate me to do my best in any support role I take on.

Education
In 2018 I attended a 16 week crash course called ITWorks, which trained me for an entry-level IT career without the need for a degree. It was through this course I went through 100+ hours of corporate level professional development training and 250+ hours of technical training necessary to obtain the CompTIA A+ certification.
