Daniel Phan

I am a dedicated and driven mechanical engineering student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, passionate about innovation and problem-solving. Through my experience in robotics, additive manufacturing, and CAD design, I have honed my technical skills, while my roles in customer service have helped me develop adaptability and strong interpersonal abilities. As an active member of the Rocketry Club and Design Build Fly, I thrive in collaborative environments where I can combine creativity with technical expertise to tackle complex challenges.

I bring a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, enhanced by hands-on experience in robotics, additive manufacturing, and customer service. As a competitor in VEX Robotics and Additive Manufacturing Competitions, I have developed expertise in CAD design, programming, and collaborative problem-solving. My role as a sales associate at TJMaxx highlights my adaptability, customer focus, and ability to excel in fast-paced environments. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with an expected graduation in May 2027. My academic foundation is complemented by my prior studies in engineering through The Career Academy's Engineering Pathway at Southeast Community College, where I gained early exposure to engineering principles and problem-solving. My education has equipped me with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, design processes, and hands-on project experience.
