Hello! I am currently obtaining my M.Ed/Ed.S in Mental Health Counseling at University of Florida. I am passionate about evidence-based, humanistic crisis intervention and aspire to better the world one person at a time.

Mental Health Counseling Intern August 2025- Present UF Levin College of Law, Gainesville, FL

• Delivered 50-minute individual counseling sessions to 25 law students weekly/biweekly using humanistic approaches. 

• Facilitated evidence-based therapy groups addressing

PALS Thrive Intern May 2025 – August 2025 UF Health Psychiatric Hospital, Gainesville, FL 

• Delivered trauma-informed counseling to inpatient adults with mental health conditions.

• Co-facilitated psychoeducational and process-oriented therapy groups.

PALS Thrive Practicum Student January - May 2025 Gainesville High School, Gainesville, FL 

• Provided weekly individual counseling to 10 adolescents, fostering therapeutic rapport. 

• Designed treatment plans, applied evidence-based interventions, and monitored clinical progress

Graduate Assistant Advisor August 2023 – July 2025 University of Florida Academic Advising Center (CLAS), Gainesville, FL 

• Delivered personalized academic advising for undergraduate students.

• Advised on CLAS policies, expectations, and available resources. 

• Processed student requests for adjustments to majors, minors, and certificates

Education

In 2023 I obtained a B.S. in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences and a B.A. in Arabic Language and Literature. In December of 2025 I am expected to graduate with a M.Ed and Ed.S. degree in Mental Health Counseling.
