Dakota McMahon

Hello! My name is Dakota McMahon. I recently graduated from Salve Regina University with a master's degree in business administration. I am looking to pursue a career in the marketing field and love sports. I graduated from Salve with my undergraduate degree also in business and was a captain of the women's ice hockey team and a student leader of Mercy in Motion, our school's campus ministry group. I am proud to say I am a part of the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society (awarded only to the top 20% of business students) and the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society. I am passionate about sports and sharing my passion with others, hoping to work with a reputable organization. Thank you! 

1 - Salve Regina University Athletic Training Department Intern: Business and Healthcare Administration focused, helped in the training room with operations, filed, checked athletes in, organized athletic training room and records, Composed and filed paperwork and healthcare records pertaining to individual athletes, Learned about proper policy, procedures, and daily operations of athletic training room, Interacted with internal athletic departments to learn how they operate and function, utilized marketing techniques to grow training room customers and experience.

2 - Strategic Business Planning Capstone Project/Class: created own business and wrote a business plan to present to panelists of judges and business owners, utilized marketing techniques, implemented several surveys to establish a customer base, digital PR and advertising to broadcast company to others, used social media marketing to focus and influence behavior of customers, developed overall marketing strategy and plan for business. 

3 - Mery in Motion Student Leader: Build/design and market programs on social justice issues and how we can respond with mercy in the world, Open house representative, speak to prospective students and parents, speak about mercy mission and mercy center, Host and promote social events, dinner discussions, spiritual enrichment, and community service events, Lead through hospitality, teamwork, community outreach
