About Courtney Gunville:

Compassionate, hard-working, hopeful and motivated.  I had been working in field of education for over 7 years as sub teacher, sub educational assistant, deaf mentor, special development specialist and early childhood teacher.  Also, I was involved with two different internships by composing maps for accessibility and research biologists.  I have some knowledges in utilizing Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator and ESRI maps.  I am passionate in seeking for a full time job and attempt my best to meet the employer's expectations.   I am looking for positions in administration, geographic information system, teaching and/or botanical assistants. 

Experience

I had been working as deaf mentor, special development specialist, early childhood teacher, sub teacher assistant and sub teacher for over 7 years in Wisconsin and New Mexico.  I did internships in Florida and then Wisconsin for geographic information system and researching in the same year of spring and summer.  I also worked as lab assistant at an university in Washington, D.C. for a year.  I was volunteered teaching social studies, science and Kenyan Sign Language for a few weeks in Kenya at a deaf school. 

Education

University of Wisconsin - Madison - Obtained certificate in fundamental geographic information system on December 2020 

Gallaudet University - Washington, D.C. - Graduated Bachelor of Arts in History and minor in Philosophy on May 2012

Wisconsin School for the Deaf - Delavan, WI - Graduated H.S. diploma on June 2007
