Courtney Rockwell

Over the last 15 years, I have played a pivotal role in building Aldevron’s Protein Business Unit (PBU) in Madison, WI. As a founding member, I contributed to its remarkable journey from a small startup to a multibillion-dollar CDMO. In the early days, I wore many hats—bench scientist, shipping & receiving, client relations, and procurement—gaining invaluable experience along the way. As Aldevron grew, I transitioned to leading the Upstream team, where my passion for leadership development truly ignited.

Leadership became my focus as I worked to foster team engagement, create a safe and supportive environment, practice empathy, show gratitude, maintain accountability, and hold high expectations for myself and others.

In 2019, my perspective shifted when I worked with a professional coach for the first time. That transformative experience brought clarity and purpose, inspiring me to pivot into talent development. Empowering others to grow in their careers became my true calling.

I combined my two passions—science and development—when I became the Manager of Training and Development. In this role, I shared my technical knowledge while guiding associates on their leadership development journeys. As a certified facilitator for DiSC® and Situational Leadership®, I provided tools and resources that enabled individuals and teams to thrive. Sharing these insights and seeing the impact has been incredibly rewarding.

To deepen my expertise, I enrolled in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Certified Professional Coaching Program and am now pursuing my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) accreditation through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). My approach to coaching is grounded in the belief that every client is naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. My mission is to help individuals gain clarity, overcome obstacles, and move forward with confidence and curiosity.
