BSW Cardiovascular Institute, Cardiovascular Perfusion – Plano, TX

• Progressive responsibilities including:
  • Independent circuit setup, priming, and safety checks
  • Initiation, maintenance, and termination of CPB 
  • Anticoagulation management and ACT monitoring
  • Hemodynamic and blood gas management during bypass
  • Ultrafiltration and hemofiltration
  • Cell saver operation for intraoperative blood management 
  • Demonstrated consistent preparation, strong situational awareness, and effective OR communication
• ECHMO and Pediatric rotations to be completed
