Transitioned to Mass General Brigham as part of a system-wide consolidation aimed at aligning community health and health equity efforts across the organization.

Focused on addressing the root causes of health disparities by building and strengthening community-based partnerships to make the greatest impact on issues such as food insecurity, housing instability, educational opportunities, and barriers to accessing healthcare.

Key Accomplishments 

  • Partnered with and supported the MGH Community Advisory Board (CAB) to strategically allocate $63 million in Community Health Impact Funds for social impact initiatives in housing & food insecurities, mental health, education, and economic mobility.
  • As a member of the leadership team, played a pivotal role in shaping an integrated community health strategy, driving cross-functional collaboration, and aligning system-wide initiatives to advance equity and impact across the MGB enterprise
  • Oversaw regulatory compliance and triennial assessments for MGH and Mass Eye & Ear.
  • Led distinctive community health strategies, including youth development programs and community coalitions, creating sustainable change in communities of promise

Primarily led and directed the Center's internal and community initiatives to address the social determinants of health, fostering policy and system changes to create sustainable impact and help build safe, thriving communities.

Key Accomplishments:

  • Led comprehensive public health initiatives addressing substance use prevention, violence intervention, cancer screening, and healthcare access barriers, advancing health equity for vulnerable populations while creating STEM education pathways for youth of promise
  • Supervised the senior leadership team and managed the annual budget
  • Fostered a high-performance culture while aligning programs with institutional priorities and promoting continuous improvement across all operations
  • Championed data-driven insights for program evaluations, informing community health policy recommendations, and establishing metrics for continuous organizational improvement
  • Philanthropic Success: Partnered with the Development Office to secure over $11 million in funding over 17 years, including the establishment of the Center's first endowment

Senior Director of Partnerships, Equity, and Inclusion                                    January 2018- October 2022

Led and implemented CCHI’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and initiatives.

Key Accomplishments

  • Created the inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, focused on driving initiatives  to promote inclusive practices across the Center 
  • Launched and facilitated the Center's ongoing racial dialogue series in collaboration with the YW Boston, fostering racial equity and inclusive conversations 

Director of Boston Partnerships                                                                  November 2007- December 2018

Founded the MGH Youth Program, delivering high-quality science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education to school-aged students from 3rd grade through college completion. 

Key Accomplishments

  • Scaled the MGH Youth Scholars Program to serve 2,000 students annually, driving a 100% increase in youth participation through strategic growth and partnership development
  • Tripled employee engagement by recruiting across 18 clinical departments, mobilizing clinicians,  researchers, and staff to mentor and inspire future healthcare leaders
  • Designed immersive, hands-on education experiences to introduce students to healthcare careers, biomedical innovation, and an interdisciplinary STEM pathway
  • Cultivated relationships with local municipalities and grassroots organizations to deepen community trust and  foster shared agency in youth development
